Ways To Live A More Sustainable Life

Ways To Live A More Sustainable Life

Earth Day is on April 22ndand it has never been more important for us all to do our part in protecting our environment. I am thrilled to be partnered with Aramark and applaud their strong environmental sustainability commitment. They weave environmental sustainability into everything they do to sourcing responsibly, minimizing waste and operating efficiently. At my restaurant, Mesa Burger, we are committed to using sustainably grown produce and ingredients that are

consciously sourced.

April is Earth Month and it is a great time to focus on on recycling, reducing plastic consumption and planting trees. All are low in effort and high in impact. There are many ways we can each do our part to protect the environment. Today, I am highlighting some items our family has incorporated into our lives to reduce our plastic consumption and live a more sustainable life.

These products have helped reduce our plastic consumption at home and when we are on the go.

Over the past week on CORA-ntine Cuisine, I got to reunite with several friends that Nicole and I have made over the years. Our incredible guests included Maria Shriver, Sheila E, Debi Mazar, Chef Gabriele Corcos, Chef Karen Akunowicz and the Shirley Temple King! Many of the guests spoke of the importance of taking care of your health and eating foods that boost your immune system.

I've had so much fun on CORA-ntine Cuisine this past week. I got to chat with several special guests including Chef Ingrid Hofffman, Chef Dominique Crenn, Cake Wars host Jonathan Bennet and my partners at the Little Kitchen Academy, Felicity and Brian Curin. There's been one common theme in all of my chats so far and that theme is positivity.
